Antiwork musings

I'm sitting at this kiosk at Walmart waiting for something to happen. The expectation from management is that I go round the store and hustle people for the company. Ultimately I just don't care enough to do more than a half assed version of this job.

I've never been a people person. I'm at my best simply being left to my task and allowed to focus on it. These kind of customer service jobs are really not what I want, but at least it might keep me working.

All the while I watch as the world burns, our nation's leadership is morally corrupt and decadant. We have secret police operating with impunity in major cities. We have oligarchs with hard-ons lusting to invade some poorly defended country and rape and pillage like meth adled Vikings.

In my own way I am contributing to this decline by participating in the taxation of the citizens to feed this Pulgasari of utter gluttony. All done under the guise of "helping people" while the tax firm rakes in millions in fees on top of whatever the people have to pay.

Becoming a hermit still l seems like a good idea.
